The pride of the company and its employees, Lavinia's World's educational programs are an integral part of author and founder Lavinia Branca Snyder's vision.

Since the company's inception in 2000, Lavinia's World has contributed books and other creative learning toys to numerous educational institutions including The Museum of the City of New York and public schools as far away as New Zealand. Lavinia's World reading programs are aimed at improving reading skills, expanding and deepening children's understanding of the world around them, and introducing and fostering cultural diversity into classroom material.

"The educational underpinning of each of the stories I write is extremely important to me," explains Lavinia. "As the mother of a ten-year-old daughter [Ophelia], I can appreciate how important lessons are more fully felt when presented in a colorful, entertaining way. Our educational programs are a bedrock of Lavinia's World."
